Every year Treetops Learning Centre has its annual fundraising day for Daffodil Day in support of the Cancer Society, as each year, many Kiwis are affected by Cancer.

We all dressed in Yellow, just like the Daffodil flower, to offer Hope. The Preschool children painted individual Daffodils, which are then framed, and parents/whānau buy these in return for a Donation.  Our three classes, Nest, Tui and Kea, also go for a Daffodil walk around Botany Junction complex to sell Daffodils and Daffodil stickers as part of the fundraising.

With our help and support, the money raised offers those affected crucial help getting to treatment via the Cancer Society’s free driving service, through to specialist nursing and psychology support, and accommodation for those needing life-saving treatment far from home. You’re also helping protect future generations of New Zealanders by helping to fund ground-breaking cancer research and vital cancer prevention programmes.
