Our owners Maree and Alison both taught and held management positions in local primary schools for many years before opening and operating our centres. High quality care and education has always been their top priority. Several of their children now work in the management and administration of our centres. They have owned our centres for over fifteen years now and began operating under the Lollipops Educare franchise until 2018.
I have had the pleasure of being a part of the Treetops Whanau for over sixteen years, having worked across our centres. I work closely with our kaiako and tamariki and enjoy spending time seeing tamariki grow from strength to strength.
My teaching practice is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, RIE and a number of inspirational professionals throughout Aotearoa, New Zealand.
I live on the beautiful Pohutukawa Coast in Beachlands with my husband David and our five children - Alyssa, Grayson, Jayden, Carleigh and Kyrie along with our many pets who share our home.
As a Mum of five, I fully appreciate the many pressures placed on families. Come and visit us to see how we can become part of your extended family!
My name is Lisa and I have been a part of the Treetops Whānau since 2008. I have had the privilege of growing with the Centre from the beginning of my Early Childhood career as a student, team member, to team leader and now Centre Manager. I have always had a passion for working with children and for being a teacher. I believe we are all learners, always improving and learning something new no matter what age we are.
My husband Dylan and children Kane and Kendall inspire me to do my best in life. Kane and Kendall have both been at Treetops since they were 6 months old and saw the centre as a home away from home. I love the family feel Treetops has and the support they give to teachers to grow from within. I aspire to lead from my heart, in order to inspire others and provide the best learning outcomes for all children.
I joined Treetops Botany in 2014 and I thoroughly enjoy spending my days at the Centre with the adorable children. My mum, Maree is the Centre Owner and I love being a part of our family business.
I am happily married to my wonderful husband Lionel and we have three beautiful children together. We live in Beachlands, right by the beach which fits in perfectly with our outdoor lifestyle!
I am originally from Gauteng, South Africa. I can speak Afrikaans. I moved to New Zealand in 1994. I am happily married and have two fantastic boys Ashton and Jesse. I have worked in Early Childhood since 1996 and Graduated in 1998 with a Diploma in Early Childhood. In 2010 i completed a Bachelors degree of Teaching in Early Childhood Education.
My name is Tino and I have a Bachelor of Education in ECE Teaching from the Auckland University of Technology.
I am a married mother of four beautiful sons. I love to keep fit and I am open to new ideas and new ways of thinking.
My teaching philosophy is based on respecting tamariki and developing reciprocal relationships with our whānau. I believe every child is unique and has their own potential.
I strive to create a warm, fun and positive environment where tamariki feel happy, valued and safe.

My name’s Genelyn, but I’m mostly known as Geny. I am the team leader in the Kea room and I’m really glad to join the warm and loving family of Treetops Early Learning Centre! They made me feel so welcome and valued that it made me so easy to settle in.
I have been working passionately with the children and their whanau for 7 years and counting!! I completed a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2009. I lived in Singapore in 2011, where I started my teaching career.
My family moved to New Zealand in 2018 and we couldn’t be happier, enjoying the well-balanced lifestyle of Aotearoa. I am happily married to my loving husband, Jun and we’re blessed to have our daughter Alexandra Praise.
My teaching philosophy is mainly inspired by Reggio Emilia and Inquiry Approach/Project-based but I am thrilled to learn more about other philosophy influences because learning, for me, never stops! I look forward to helping and guiding young children to unfold their full potential by responding to their curiosity and discovery. I aim to support them, working hand-in-hand with their families, for them to grow confidently, beautifully and with heart!
