We are very passionate here at Treetops about caring for others, and helping out where we can, especially within our whānau and the community.

We love the idea of ‘kids helping kids’ which is why we find the 'Jammies in June' Middlemore Foundation close to our hearts. Role modelling these acts of kindness allow our young tamariki to understand how to live with integrity, optimism, hope, determination, and compassion, all of which are essential to a child's positive development.

The team at Middlemore are passionate about giving pyjamas to thousands of children in need across South Auckland and the community. Middlemore Foundation's work in the community has never been needed more than now and they launch 'Jammies in June' each year to keep our most vulnerable tamariki warm through winter. They are dedicated to making a positive difference, growing their impact and helping people. All the donations go straight towards changing lives and helping the community to thrive!

We like to conclude our 'Jammies in June collection' at Treetops with a FUN midwinter pyjama party for the children to enjoy. We invite all our children and teachers to come dressed in their pyjamas for a warm, cosy winter treat. We then watch a recent favourite movie on the big screen and snuggle up warm with some yummy snacks. It is always a highlight of the year and a great way to appreciate what we have.
